The region of Liébana, crossed by the River Deva, is in the eastern buttresses of the National Park of the Picos de Europa, the parkland home of many Spanish cheeses. Tresviso is a village located 1,000 meters above sea level where there are still two brothers who continue to make this blue cheese with milk from their herd of cows and who mature it in natural caves. With DOP since 1994.
Of powerful flavor, defined and sharp but of great creaminess and personality. Straw yellow color due to its high fat content, it pairs very well with sweet generous wines.
